What is the whole idea behind selling health supplements you can get in regular stores? Hello…if people wanted vitamins, they would go to GNC or WalMart. If they wanted lotion, they would go to get the really good stuff at Bath and Body Works or Victoria Secrets. If they wanted to get pain medicine, they could simply grab a bottle of Tylenol while grocery shopping. Why would they buy a more expensive and lesser known product from you? An even better question is, why would they be pressured into going to your house to spend time at a high-pressure meeting to buy it from you?
If this is they type of business you are looking at, you may want to think again. These companies usually make most of their money from you, the distributor, not from selling the products. They have you buying products to say active. So, now you are on an auto ship. They only pay a small percent of commission out of the matrix because they would go out of business if they paid you more.
They will tell you that it is easy to fill a matrix, just get 3 who get 3, right? Then, when you fill the matrix and sell thousands and thousands of products, you get your first hundred dollar check. So now you really get to work. They tell you that you won’t have to do anything and you’ll be making five figures monthly.
Do they tell you about the loop holes to their pay plans? Do they tell you that nobody ever reaches those levels? Here’s a homework assignment: Ask the next person who calls you about joining an MLM if they have ever perfectly filled up a matrix that needed over 100,000 people to complete. I would be very interested in learning who this person is and in seeing any proof they have to show this miracle matrix. What happens is, you either will have too many people on your left side, or too may people on your right side.
What about when you personally sponsor tons of people and the matrix fills all on one side, then they tell you that you need more personal volume but your group volume is fine. Or, vice-versa, or that you had cancellations this month, so you will be charged-back for the little commission you already received. Oh, and you no longer qualify for the free trip to the next event or the car bonus. Even worse, you get down a few levels into the matrix and your bonus checks are rolling in and the company shuts down and stops paying you altogether. (This has happened to me personally just two months ado.)
It just seems like there are a million companies making a million millionaires on the internet, so how do you know what is good and what is not? Some of these companies above actually have a good product, but some sell junk, they know it and they do not care one bit. It is all about the mighty dollar. If you luck up and do make five figures per month with this type of company, they will find a way to take that check from you. Or, they will go out of business because they are paying you five figures per month.
So don’t jump right in because the special offer will end in the next 29 seconds. Try to take a free tour or trial before getting started and have access to the company or your sponsor. The last tip is just three simple words…use common sense.
