Irrespective of the brand of CoQ10 supplement that you decide to take, make sure that it is taken with food and during meal times. This is because CoQ10 is a fat-soluble nutrient.
There are many added cofactors that are associated with these CoQ10 supplements, therefore these cofactors will increase the bioavailability of Coenzyme Q10 like Bioperine, vitamin E, and omega 3.
Ubiquinone was one of the most recognized forms CoQ10 until now. However, in recent times, Japan researchers have been able to produce a bio-identical and more pure form of CoQ10 which is also referred to as Ubiquinol.
The Ubiquinol is CoQ10’s downline metabolite. Because of this, it is considered stronger and one of the most active versions of CoQ10.
You don’t have to worry if your body is able to convert CoQ10 into its most active form or not because as you grow older, the ability to produce CoQ10 and its conversion to a more active form- Ubiquinol decreases substantially.
People suffering from diseases like diabetes, heart problems, autoimmune disorders, etc, find it very difficult to convert CoQ10 to Ubiquinol.
So the presence of Ubiquinol is essential to these people.
