Many people are now adding vitamins, minerals and other natural supplements to their urban survival stockpiles.
The importance of doing so and why…
A new law is going into effect December 31, 2009, in America called Codex Alimentarius. This will greatly restrict the potency of what is in vitamins and minerals. It will be down (on average) to 1/100th of what it is now. How effective do you think the vitamins will be?
When people see the possibility of being out of work they still have to be healthy. If shortages appear in the market because of inflation, war or distribution problems, it will effect everyone. So, even if you do have money but the products simply can’t be bought, everybody will be without.
How things can be restricted could be from the following: war disruption of distribution inflation (worthless currency) riots (stealing from the stores) bankruptcies of companies that produce the product in question laws forbidding the manufacturing, distribution or possession laws making it very expensive to manufacture and finally, not having enough money to buy the product.
How many of the above events do you read in the news today? How many of the above do you personally see happening? Now many what your economic finances are, you need to stay in good health. One way to do that is to be sure that you have the necessary vitamins and minerals your body needs. If you still have a job, consider yourself lucky. But even if you have job, and you get sick, can you still support your family? Will you job still be waiting for you when you recover?
By keeping healthy, you will also improve your finances. We all know how expensive it is to see a doctor or go to hospital. Do yourself and your family a favour and stock up now while you can still buy vitamins.
There are only a few online health products that I recommend (see my bio for one of them). How to Determine Your Needs For Buying Health Products. First, consider what your family’s needs will be for the coming year. Here are some of the things that you should be asking yourself and each family member:
What would be good to have?
What problems do you see arising in areas of health?
What little problems do you have now, though it’s small?
The last one is very important. For example, if one family member is a little constipated, it will probably get worse as time goes on. So, you should make sure you have some natural herbal supplement to take care of it.
Make a list of all the items you need from the most important to the least. This way, you can judge your purchase if your money is limited.
Expiration Date
The next thing you want to check out is the expiration date. Usually all vitamins and minerals have about the same expiration date. You should buy enough to last your family for 5 years – but the vitamins will not last that long. So, buy enough to supply your family for the coming year. If your finances can’t afford it, buy what you can of the most important items.
The most important items for everyone is vitamins and minerals. The least important, for example, would be something that treats toenail fungus. So, buy with that consideration in mind.
