This Film was made for the Horror Movie contest run by Doug James of shootinbricks.com and Jared Gilbert of mysticstudios.net, busy on other projects when the contest was announced, I was unsure if I was going to enter, but I let ideas run around in my head just incase. When I finally did decide to enter the contest I spent quite some time trying to nail down an idea that was at once original, but also gave a salute to the classic horror movies of old… the kind that hollywood just cant seem to produce anymore. as it turned out I spent a little TOO MUCH time on this, because by the time I had everything concrete I realised I was running out of time, so I drew up a filming scedule that would allow me to make the deadline, and everything was looking fine… UNTIL some unexpected circumstances arose at work, meaning that suddenly I had less than a THIRD of the time I had expected to have to work on the film, in depression I plodded along to the Brickfilms.com forums and admitted defeat, stating that I will not be entering the contest due to lack of time to complete the project. Heartwarmingly (and something that made me even more depressed about it) most of the regulars in the community diaplayed empathy, deep sorrow and regret that there would be no Bluntmation in the contest. Then Doug made an announcement that a one week extention would be given (seems I wasn’t the only one running out of time), that bolstered my resolve, and I REALLY put the pedal to the metal… only …
