Symphony Animal Foundation just took a giant step forward in its mission to save the animals. (Southwest Medical Hypertension) Hypertension or High blood pressure damages your arteries over time causing them to narrow and become dysfunctional. This can lead to heart disease, stroke and kidney disease. Roughly 30% of US adults have high blood pressure. Hypertension has been called a “silent killer” because it often has no symptoms. Dr. George Scleparis from Southwest Medical Associates held a seminar at the Pahrump Nugget to inform the public about this deadly, but treatable disease.
