Blood pressure is the pressure or force of blood that flows in your blood vessels. This force is measured in milligrams of mercury (mmHg). Generally your blood pressure should be below 120 /80. The top number represents the pressure of blood against the blood vessel walls when the heart contracts / pumps and the bottom number represents the pressure of blood against the vessel wall when the heart is in between pumps / contraction.
